In 1937 the General Directorate of Agriculture of the Generalitat de Catalunya commissioned a series of cooperative propaganda posters. This poster urged all Catalan farmers to donate their wheat, due to the needs of the war. Edited by Direcció General d'Agricultura, printed by Gràfiques Manen.
The author of this poster is Fritz Levy, a Jewish artist, who arrived to Barcelona in 1933 after he escaped the Nazis. He designed other cooperative posters and also others popular posters, such as the Olimpíada popular or La Batalla de l'ou.
