Description
Lithograph poster advertising the “Setmana hotelera”: a nine days of celebrations held in Barcelona in 1930. Josep Obiols was one of the most important painters of the Noucentisme. Having travelled to Italy in the early 20's, he came back so impressed by the Italian mural painting that he decided to devote himself to the same art. In this poster we can clearly see how strongly influenced he was by academic and mural art. Printed by Artes Gráficas S. A. Heinrich, linen backed, B+ condition. Dimensions in inches: 35.8 x 25.6''.
