Description
Small size poster advertising the magazine “Pèl & Ploma” (litteraly “Hair & Feather”). Born in 1899 from the ashes of the legendary “Quatre Gats”, Pèl & Ploma was an artistic and cultural magazine financed by Ramón Casas (not only was he the editorial director, but he was also the art director and the main illustrator), with literary contributions by Miquel Utrillo. A hundred of issues later, in 1903, Pèl & Ploma closes down, after being one of the most representative magazines of Catalan “Art Nouveau”, as well as a reference in the promotion of modern art
