Ausano Ramazzotti lo elaboró por primera vez en 1815 en Milán, está elaborado a base de 33 hierbas y raíces aromáticas diferentes, entre las que se encuentran el ruibarbo, el ginseng, la canela, el orégano, la naranja dulce de Sicilia y la amarga de la isla de Curacao, vainilla, etc. El Amaro Felsina Ramazzotti es un licor que combina equilibradamente el dulce y el amargo y contiene 30% Vol. de alcohol. Está delicioso solo, con unos cubitos de alcohol, pero también sirve para hacer combinados, uno de los más conocidos el Ramazzotti Menta.
