Description
Tàpies' posters can be classified into two major categories: the ones promoting his exhibitions and the ones related to the public sphere. The latters constitute an important documentary material about the history of ethical issues (death penalty abolition, amnesty, human rights...) and international politics. But above all, Tàpies created a big number of posters about the facts and the events related to the social, cultural and political history of Catalonia, starting from the last years of Franco's dictatorship until his own death.
