Description
Spectacular lithograph poster printed in gold, promoting the Carnival of Madrid 1901, by Spanish illustrator, painter and writer Eulogio Varela Sartorio. The artist collaborated with Emilio Sala for the decoration of the Teatro Español and of Madrid Casino de Madrid; in addition, he was one of the most important collaborators of the magazine “Blanco y Negro” (he published more than 1000 illustrations).
