Description

En 1847 Antonio Arias funda en Corias una fabrica de Sidra Champanada y de mantequilla, posteriormente la traslada y amplia sus instalaciones en un nuevo edificio, utilizando el ala izquierda para la fabricación de la manteca y en el ala derecha monta unos grandes toneles de madera y comienza la elaboración de Sidra champanada. La zona central con la torre es para oficinas. Antonio Arias falleció a principios del siglo XX dejando al frente de la empresa a sus hijos Antonino y Ángel que la inscriben como Hijos de Antonio Arias, S.A. En esos años ya elaboraba anualmente 150.000 kg de manteca y también exportaba varios miles de cajas de sidra a Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela y México.
